Join the ACFE Ottawa Chapter and AFP Ottawa for a virtual professional development session featuring Dr. Richard Leblanc, an internationally recognized expert in governance, ethics, accountability, and board effectiveness.
Dr. Leblanc is an award-winning educator, lawyer, author, and governance advisor who has advised more than 250 organizations and boards, trained over 1,000 directors and executives, and taught corporate governance at Harvard University. He is the editor of The Handbook of Board Governance (3rd Edition, 2024), a leading reference in the field.
This session will explore current and emerging challenges related to fraud, corruption, ethical conduct, and governance within the public sector. Drawing on extensive experience advising organizations in Canada and internationally, Dr. Leblanc will share practical insights on strengthening ethical decision-making, identifying fraud and corruption risks, enhancing oversight, and promoting accountability in increasingly complex organizational environments.
