The collapse of QuadrigaCX caused massive losses for investors from Canada and around the world.  Staff of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) undertook a review of Quadriga’s business operations to determine how the platform was run, what caused its collapse, and where the money went.   This session will provide an inside look into this investigation. 

Speaker: Daniel Tourangeau, CPA, CA, MFAcc, CFF, CFE

Daniel Tourangeau has worked for over 15 years in the field of forensic accounting and is a Case Lead & Senior Forensic Accountant in the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission.  He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a master’s degree in forensic accounting from the University of Toronto.  He is also a Sessional Lecturer in the Master of Forensic Accounting program at the University of Toronto.
